Ceramic and Glass Inks
All of the inks used are PERMANENT. Glass inks are fired
at 1140 Fahrenheit and ceramic inks at 1420 Fahrenheit. Although
we stock a wide range of colors, we cannot guarantee an exact color
match due to the nature of ceramic heat-resistant enamels. Please
keep in mind that there may be a significant color difference when
printing onto colored products i.e. red on black, yellow on blue.
Colors
Please use careful consideration when selecting color.
These inks are semi-transparent and will appear different if imprinted
on colored surfaces. With close registration where colors must touch,
1/32nd inch overlap is considered acceptable in the industry.
Precious Metal
Gold, Silver and Platinum inks are metal based. These inks
CANNOT be put in a microwave. Precious metal inks will come off
in a dishwasher. We recommend hand washing.
Ware Quality
Due to limitations in ceramics and glassware, minor imperfections
and variances may occur, for example; tiny pinholes, or slight variances
in the glaze of ceramics. Glassware may have uneven weight distribution
in the base or small bumps on the rim. These are considered acceptable
as per industry standards and are not deemed cause for return.
Ceramic
We import ceramic products from around the world. Our central
location provides us with the opportunity to draw on many suppliers.
This ensures that we can have the products in production usually
in 3-5 business days.
Glass Inventory
We import our glass from two major suppliers (Libbey Glass
and Arcoroc). The majority of our products are produced in North
America. This allows us to bring in product to fill our customers
orders. We can order and receive the glass in our catalogue in 3-5
days (most cases).
Glass
Tempered glass becomes un-tempered after firing. It is
not recommended to pour hot liquid into a glass container as it
may shatter.
Food Service
We can decorate and supply full tableware sets, from fine
China to economical Chinese ceramics. We guarantee that our ceramic
inks will hold up in industrial dishwashers.
Inventory
While every effort is made to keep adequate levels of inventory
in house, we may need to substitute items based on availability
from our suppliers.
